This is an economical way to benefit from proper potassium chloride supplementation (e.g., electrolyte balance, blood pressure regulation, muscle and nerve health, bone health). However, it is very salty and can be used as a substitute for sodium (table salt) if you are on a low sodium diet.

I purchased this to make my own electrolytes. It is a large container so I will get my moneys worth out of it! Good quality ingredients.

We are on our second jug. Grain size was very good for salt shaker use. We reduced this great product by one Star because it will cake a bit having no anticaking additive; breaks loose easily though. Very good price.

Nutricost consistently ranks high on the supplement tracking app I use, and this product is no exception. It checks most of the boxes when it comes to safety and quality. The inactive ingredients are clean, and everything is made in the USA in a cGMP-certified, third-party-audited facility. It’s also NSF certified, which adds another level of trust.I appreciate the level of testing behind this—third-party verified, raw ingredient tested, purity tested, and screened for heavy metals. The only things missing are lot-specific testing and public batch COAs, but those are nice-to-haves rather than dealbreakers. The formula is free from fillers, dyes, and GMOs, which is important to me. While the founder doesn’t have a medical or scientific doctorate, that’s a minor point considering the product stands on solid quality and transparency. Overall, this is a reliable supplement from a brand I feel good about using.I use this as a homemade electrolyte mix, and it appears that my body and physiology respond appropriately when consumed.

Potassium chloride powder supplement. For those who do not get enough potassium in their diet, or need to avoid salt. The container contains the powder, a 1000mg scoop and a desiccant packet to keep the powder from clumping. I put it in a glass of water to drink with my meal. Tastes a little salty, but not bad. Please use carefully.

This Supplement was purchased for a specific reason and medical condition and is being taken under the care and supervision of a Medical Doctor.THE GOOD: This supplement appears to be as advertised. I waited to rate this item after it was confirmed medically my Potassium serum levels increased per MD Instructions and dosing using this specific product. For the most part, it is easy to use, however, some people may find it difficult to take. This is the Chloride salt form of Potassium. You have to mix your dosage with water or other beverage very cold is best. It’s like taking a great big swallow of Salt Water with a Metallic aftertaste. But for me, I expected this and not a big deal.THE BAD: The price point is neither expensive nor inexpensive. It seems to be in the middle compared to others. So considering I use this as a daily supplement, and in a larger dose than indicated on the bottle, i will always be on the lookout for better deals as this product is not covered by medical insurance.THE UGLY: I have a concerns about this brand and their statements of authenticity and purity. They State they are GMO free, Gluten Free, 3rd Party tested etc etc. However, I can’t find anything published with supporting statements or any other documents to support their claims including their own website. I did find complaints online from apparently other users (NOT VERIFIED) that Nutricost refused to send them supporting information. I also cannot locate Nutricost on any of the registered Vitamin and Supplement Forums that register Supplement companies to confirm claims. This is the reason for 3 stars. I would have given 4 or 5 if I could verify their claims

Although potassium can lower bp, chloride does raise bp. I would choose Potassium Citrate if I had to do it all over again.
